The wind is blowing so hard, Andrew. I went to your grave today and gave you a real Christmas tree. As the wind is blowing, I am worried that all the decorations will blow away and the tree will roll down the hill.

On the way home, I stopped and petted your kitty. She misses you, and she is very shy. But, I told her over and over that I am Andrew's Mom. Do you miss Andrew? She does. Finally she warmed up to me and let me pet her and hug her. She smelled my hand looking for a clue to your scent.

Christmas is never the same without you. We all hurt so much. You are not there. I seriously try to be as happy as I used to be at Christmas for Jessie, but I just never quite get there. We will be at Grandma Dee's on Christmas. At the table, there is always a searching in my heart for you. I am not the only one. Sometimes we just break down and cry about it.

Nineteen Christmases! It seems like a lot, but just not enough, my son. I have so much more love to give you, and I do. I LOVE YOU!
