I just read Sara's message to Andrew. Erica, Brigitte and I went to church tonight, several babies there being cuddled and kissed and entertained-being precious-as we all are coming into this world. Reminded me of the beautiful song, "Mary, Did You Know?" I love the line "did you know that when you kissed your baby's face , you kissed the face of God?..." I feel like Sara loved and loves her precious son, Andrew, in a beautiful way. They were close and seemed to have a special understanding between them, a special bond. I have always felt blessed that these two special people became a part of my family, I am hurting more than I can ever describe by our loss and for ALL who love him. I'm sure Andrew knew deeply that he was loved by all of us, if only our love could have been enough...Andrew, you have my attention, and I am trying everyday to be conscious of what I am to learn... as you continue on with your Spirit work....It's Christmas...I will miss your wonderful hug and smile and warmth today, we all will. But we will feel you in our hearts, we'll know your presence. Bless you, honey, I love you, gramma Dee |
